Matthew McDaniel

Matthew joined Compass Ion Advisors in 2020. He works directly with families and institutions, providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management services, and strategic tax planning. Matthew has a special interest and unique expertise with all forms of equity compensation, such as Founder Stock, Incentive Stock Options, Restricted Stock, and Non-Qualified Stock Options. He also carries specific experience with IPOs and exits of Small Business Owners.

Matthew is an Enrolled Agent. An Enrolled Agent is a tax advisor, who is federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Matthew also holds the Series 65 and in process of obtaining his CFP® designation. He is a board member for his local Financial Planning Association chapter.
