YOUR DEFINITION OF RICH: We are constantly amazed at the different definitions of wealth. This one was simple yet thought-provoking. Love it or hate it—what’s your definition of “rich”?:

BOND HISTORY: Bonds complements stocks in a diversified allocation. They have lower expected returns and drawdowns than stocks. However, even bonds have intra-year declines.

RETAIL THERAPY?: There are endless amounts of financial theories. Consumer spending does not predict recessions. While we know recessions and market corrections are not the same, it does remind us of the compelling quote from Peter Lynch, “Far more money has been lost by investors preparing for corrections or trying to anticipate corrections than has been lost in corrections themselves.”

FINANCIAL BLIND SPOTS: They are called blind spots for a reason. You can’t self-diagnose them. Our team has a process to address the most common issues that plague families.

  • Insurance planning & risk management
  • Investments
  • Estate Planning
  • Cash Flow Planning

78 DAYS: Ever notice how much more gets done just before a deadline? Here’s your kind nudge to prioritize what needs to be done before the year-end. There are only 78 days left in 2025. We recommend getting a will and estate plan finalized by the year’s end. If you need to be introduced to a trustworthy estate planning attorney, just let us know.

TOO MUCH CASH?: This late in the year, it’s common to notice above-average cash reserves in your various bank accounts. Remember- bank interest from CDs, money markets, and savings accounts is all taxable as federal and state income. If you are in the higher tax brackets, bank products can be very tax inefficient. We can help you consider tax-free money markets, government bonds, and other strategies based on the observations below.

WHY IS THE WORLD GETTING SO UGLY?: We found this video from The Cultural Tutor quite interesting. What do ordinary objects and their design communicate? He argues this is about learning about our past to improve our present—what role can beauty play in our lives?
