Winning is Underrated: One of the big highlights of 2025 for the Kane family came from coaching my son’s club soccer team to a national championship. In addition to the fun of winning, it opened my eyes to the powerful effect winning has on our formation. For the kids, especially, you could see a tangible difference in other areas of their lives. Their work ethic and personal development began to accelerate because they expected to win in other areas too.

I’ve been deeply reminded that one of the best things a leader can do is put their team in a position to experience winning and be formed by it. I would leave you with this question: are there any areas of your life where you can help those around you experience winning?
